Today I decided to pair a stripe tee with my trusty blazer and add a rust colored pencil skirt to finish the outfit.
Accessories: Heart beaded bracelet and this infinity ring from Sportsgirl.
Also tried on this pink dressy skirt in Temp but it was too long and a little itchy – the material and I tried on these red pants but I didn’t like the fit and the color was a tad too bright for my liking.
Who likes to go back to work after having a relaxing weekend? If you put your hand up or fist pumped the air then you must be one of the lucky few who love their job to bits! Though I do not loathe my job and I do enjoy it, I enjoy my weekends more! So I decided to spunk up the office with something bright.
Who would have thought that these 3 different patterns would make a complete outfit. This is what I wore today. I think the trick is to have the colors similar in each pattern – for eg I chose black and white. You should choose one pattern to be “louder” than the others while the other 2 should complement the bolder pattern.
I chose this striped cardigan which is black and gray where the stripes are quite faint. I also chose this spotty skirt where the white dots are also quite faint and then I chose this floral top that is much bolder in pattern.
Today has been the hottest it has been for a long time – just a taste of Summer! 29 degrees!
Today I wore a lot of blue! haha even though this is my favourite color I hardly wear a lot of it! Today I wore this blue cardigan – I love the color of it and a striped shirt underneath with this thrifted skirt. I love how the skirt has pockets on both sides and buttons down the middle 🙂
Shopping on my lunch time again I saw this bright blue skirt with really cute square buttons on the side so I had to try it on. I love the color of it but I’m not 100 percent sure if I like it enough to buy it. I was also trying on a white pair of denim jeans but it didn’t fit right so I didn’t buy that and last of all I tried boot leg cut jeans in a maroon color which was an ok fit but didn’t scream “buy me” so I let that one go too.
I love window shopping – gives me a chance to see what is out there and because I normally go regularly I get to see if there are sales for items I have kept an eye on. The only bad thing is I tend to be buying something at least once a week when I should really be saving ^.^
