Interview – Thu of Just tututiny

Hi all,

I’m back with another interview.

 http://justtututiny.blogspot.com/

Today I will be interviewing Thu of Just tutiny. Ever since I stumbled upon her blog I have loved her OOTD and she is informative with the way she words each piece and each trend she wears 🙂

So onto the questions 🙂

1. Tell us what your blog is about and what inspired you to start blogging?

My blog is about my day-to-day personal style and my thought process behind choosing each outfit. I love researching about trends and use my blog to share my findings with my readers and blog friends.
 http://justtututiny.blogspot.com/

My inspiration came from fellow bloggers of course and also because I wanted to have an outlet outside from work, family and school so that I can connect with fashion forward individuals.

2. How do you choose what you blog about?

The focus of my blog is usually on fashion trends and deals & steals. So depending upon what is in style and on sale in a particular season is what I usually blog about.

3. Your blog has a lot of OOTDs which are great inspirations for people. What is your favourite blog to read? Or which blog makes you inspired?

Gosh, there is so many to name, and it obviously changes on a day to day basis because I get new readers that gives me great inspirations and ideas all the time 🙂 If I had to choose one I would have to say Cupcakes and Cashmere – her website was my very first blog read and I was hooked since then.

(P.s I just checked out this blogger 🙂 and she has great style :))

4. What is your favourite eye palette?

The only one that I use is Stila in moonlight.

5. Makeup, shoes, nail polish or bags?

Shoes!

6. I have to throw in a random question – what is the scariest thing you have done?

Skiing down Black Diamond, which happens to be the biggest mountain at that particular ski place that we went. It was my very first time on the slopes too, I almost broke my neck!

(Whoa that’s pretty game! haha)

7. What’s your favourite destination to visit?

Toronto – for the exotic fruits that are imported from Thailand.

8. What is on your latest wish/lust list?

A sequin clutch

9. What advice do you give new bloggers who are starting out their own blogs?

Have fun with it. Write about anything you want to and the readers will come. You also don’t have to blog everyday to have a successful blog but just make sure that when you do that you reciprocate and support other bloggers that visit your site.

(I like this advice actually 🙂 Support other bloggers!)

10. Lastly, tell us something about yourself that most people wouldn’t know?

Well, most people don’t know this but I am a very busy bee: I work full time, attend law school at night, have 2 kids and now am a blogger. Many think I am crazy but I love what I do and will continue to do it because I have made some great blog friends and hope to continue these friendship =)

{Thu with her cute little daughter – can’t get enough of her}

Wow this girl has one busy schedule and still manages to maintain her blog! I definitely give her props for that! Hope you enjoyed reading the interview 🙂 Oh and her daughter is so cute! She gets featured on her blog with a lot of style and flair 🙂 She is going to be one stylish kid 🙂

Anyone else who would like to be interviewed – let me know 🙂

Fashion/style resolutions

The year is coming to a close! Argh! It’s always exciting to start a new year – means fresh resolutions, a fresh start to everything!

So what are your fashion resolutions?

Mine are:

1. Try to shop more wisely – As in spending time to think before I purchase something instead of being hasty and pondering whether the item I buy will be versatile enough to wear more than once 🙂

2. Accessorise more – I already do accessorise a lot but I think I always grab the same items and don’t really mix it up much so I hope next year I will be able to use different accessories to jazz up outfits 🙂

3. Don’t always wear black! – I love black clothes and coming from Melbourne I believe lots of people wear black here! Just check out the main CBD and you will notice a sea of people in black! Especially since we are in Summer – I hope to wear more colors 🙂

Shopping at 8am?

Today was an eventful day because I got to visit one of our regional offices and go into court. It was very interesting to see how the court system works.

I also managed to do some quick shopping because some shops were opened at 8. I saw this cute bag on display in witchery and these wedge shoes. I couldn’t try them because that shop only opened at 9.

But I did pick up these cute black boots on sale for $8. They will be perfect for colder days. I also got this white shirt for $5. I like the sleeves and the front pockets and last of all I couldn’t resist and picked up this Rimmel wine colored nail polish which is perfect for fall or Winter.

OOTD: Black blazer, floral skirt (that used to be longer but I shortened it) and floral top. I love this bag that I bought from HK night markets. I use it a lot as its soo roomy inside and has this tag that is great for travel ticket – just swipe on and off.

My go-to flats

Everytime I need to quickly leave the house these are my go-to flats! They are stylish but also comfy and I got them on sale which is a bonus 🙂
