Hello everyone 🙂
Happy 2014 everyone 🙂 Hope your year has started off with a bang!
The bf gifted me these beautiful swarovski feather earrings 🙂 I was proud of him for choosing them himself! They are beautiful and I wore them on new years day!
Swarovski feather earrings
So of course I had to start the year with eating! Especially one of my most favourite cuisines and dishes : Malaysian!
And I thought this was the cutest store display!
New years resolutions!
1. Continually blogging – as I enjoy it as a medium to display my life in pictures and remember the good times 🙂 Kinda therapeutic too!
2. Start running again! That nike app on my phone isn’t being used as frequently as I would like
3. Travel more!! I will start the year off in Indonesia from next week onwards so I’m looking forward to that 🙂
What are your new year’s resolutions? Do you think there is a point to make resolutions?
I can’t believe I have made it to the 2nd year mark of blogging 🙂
Things I love about blogging :
- Getting to vent out about every day life
- Sharing with the world all the beautiful things I see
- Having a place to talk to other bloggers about similar interests
- Showing fashion items
- Having a little space in blog world
Things I don’t love about blogging :
- Sometimes it takes a lot of time and effort to maintain
- Sometimes you get writers block
What about your loves and hates about blogging? Love to hear them 🙂
On an accessory note 🙂 I picked up these two items – I love rose gold and funky jewellery so I picked up this rose gold bracelet and also this ring 🙂 $2 each 🙂 Score!!

Just went shopping and picked up some great jewellery pieces. I’m already in love with this peacock ring and have been wearing it often 🙂 It actually goes well with my minty polish 🙂
I also picked up 2 necklaces. One is blue and green with different charms on it and the other is a little more feminine with charms on it too.
I also picked up this bangle collection with a heart, bird and pearl charms. The label said Antique Rose. It actually does look quite vintage and feminine. I can see it paired with a feminine dress.
Happy Tuesday to you all and hope that your long weekend break has given you the motivation to work harder 🙂 Hehe at least its a short week!
I don’t know about you? But I love going to the markets and searching for new treasures. This weekend I was able to go to one of the biggest markets we have in our area. It was extra hot today though so people were selling things fast to get out of the sun!
I picked up these earrings 🙂
and also the last Harry Potter book – The Deathly Hallows. I have read it before but a long time ago and I’m slowly getting the whole set. Basically brand new – $3 can’t go wrong 🙂
Happy weekend everyone! Any good markets in your area? Do you go? Any good finds?
It’s nearly Friday 🙂 At the moment my NOTD is by Sally Hansen – Minted. I bought this over in the US when I went to CVS. Today I’m wearing my shell bracelet – gifted from a friend and this peach colored bead bracelet. I think the colors go really well with each other. Last of all is my heart necklace! I actually bought this from a market and has been a favourite casual necklace for a while! This weekend is Chinese new year! Can’t wait to gorge down food!
Also I just learnt how to make this beaded bracelet from Carrie. The tutorial is from here. It was quite easy to make and fun 🙂
I adjusted the way I did it because I didn’t have the same materials. I used glass beads which were bigger than the size 8 seeded beads and I used wire instead of waxen linen cord 🙂
Overall I’m happy with my home made bracelet and layered with other pieces I think it will go well as an added accessory to my collection 🙂
Will you try it out? Let me know 🙂
