Brunching @ Miss Marmalade

Hi all,

Another weekend has rolled by and Autumn is here. A few weekends ago I went brunching with my girlfriends to this place called Miss Marmalade.

It was located in a residential street – like a hidden gem.

It was owned by a family running the business so it had a homely feel to it. I ordered two poached eggs with hollandaise sauce with a hashbrown.

And a chai latte from the pot. It was delicious! Not everyone likes chai latte because of the spices but I love it!!

Have you been brunching anywhere? Any favourite places to go?

Bairnsdale

Hi all,

For work I had to travel to a small country regional town. From Melbourne it took about 3 to 3.5 hrs drive. Along the way we had to travel through Morwell – which was smoke filled due to the bush fire. It was interesting to see how the towns looked. Country towns are always having fresh produce and this was no exception. We found a cute cafe – The Wooden Squirrel where we had our coffees and breakfast.

What’s planned for your weekend?

Miam miam

Hi all,

If you have been following my blog – you will know I love to eat! I mean doesn’t everybody? And I’m one of those people that drool at other people’s food blogs. And yes I’m one of those people who makes everybody wait while I take photos of the food before you can eat it! Sue me! haha

So me and the bf tried out this new place called Miam miam. I found the concept quite interesting as its a fusion between Japanese cuisine and French 🙂

Vegetarian spaghetti

Curry fusion

This japanese curry dish was interesting as it had cheese on top with sausages and an egg.

Green tea souffle

I couldn’t go past the green tea 🙂 The souffle was light but I feel I like something a little more less gooey. The top was nice tho.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend! This weekend I’m off rock climbing 🙂
