Hope you had a lovely weekend. Mine was spent gorging on bbq food at my friend’s housewarming. The view was beautiful and the weather was beautiful too.
I tried on this blue dress and discovered that this color really suits my skin tone. After shopping for a while now, I notice there are specific colors that work for my skin tone and others that don’t. I think shades of purple and blue really work for tanner skin tones where as browns and some pinks do not work that well.
Have you thought about what colors suit your skin tones?
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you who are in US and Canada 🙂
We don’t have the pleasure of that holiday down here but that doesn’t mean we can’t be thankful for what we have 🙂 It’s good to reflect on what we are thankful for – keeps us in perspective with our life 🙂
So I’m thankful for my friends and family who love and care for me so much. I’m thankful for being able to eat this delicious bowl of curry laksa from Paparich.
I’m thankful for a stable job so that I’m able to purchase clothes like this mustard dress 🙂
and be able to do my nails in this mint and dark green color.
I’m thankful for life in general and that I don’t have to struggle with my life where others may have to. So never take anything for granted in your life.
What fall/winter trends are you smitten with and/or have added to your closet? I love oxblood nails and being able to layer upon layer 🙂 But now it’s warmer down under so I love spring/Summer weather 🙂
The best teacher I ever had was … my chemistry teacher – she knew how to add in fun experiments while letting us learn all the chemical formulas – plus having a small class made it easier to have 1:1 interaction 🙂
Strange food aversion you have … mushroom!! I don’t like the rubbery texture of it and to me it does not taste nice!
What is your favorite post on your blog, and why? I think I love my interview posts as I get to share different readers and their interests and my #photoaday posts as it shows what photos I took at that point of time – It’s like an picture diary 🙂
Favorite cereal: I do like fruitloops
Describe your ideal home: I would love a double storey house with classic furniture. I would love a room for just lazing around with beautiful ornaments displayed!
What makes someone beautiful to you? (can be physical attributes, personality, or both) Definitely a beautiful and caring heart.
Last book you read: Hungergames Third Book – Mockingjay – It was very different from the first 2 books but it will be great to see how they play this out in the movies 🙂
Handwritten letter or e-mail? Definitely handwritten mail 🙂 I love snail mail! I love how it is personalised and that everyone’s handwriting is different and I love getting anything in the mail – Thrill of the surprise 🙂
If your style was an animal, what would it be? Hmmm tough question, maybe a leopard as I love leopard print hehe.

Today it was a lovely day and I got to spring out this leopard sleeveless top and pair it with my jeans for a casual Friday look.
I have been seeing a lot of hype over Breaking Dawn Part 2 but I can’t stand it.. Edward Cullen just doesn’t do it for me and I can’t stand Kristen’s acting. On another note I finally finished reading the 3rd Hunger Games book. Progressing from the 1st book – it was exactly like the movie. The 2nd book was really hard to get into until you got half way and the 3rd book was not like the first two at all. With risk of giving away spoilers I will let you decide whether you liked the books yourself 🙂 If you like war books – you will appreciate the 3rd book 🙂
I will leave you with some instagram pics 🙂
The view outside right now 🙂
This is what’s in my bag
And I love green tea with mochi! (Japanese sticky rice sweet)
