Colored jeans

Hi all,

Spring is officially here!!! I’m so excited to see warmer days and more sunshine in the afternoon!! πŸ™‚ So I went shopping for some colored jeans!

Below are burgundy jeans that I could use for future fall or winter and also use for spring πŸ˜‰

I also tried this dark green moss colored jeans which I think are great for winter or fall but could also be transformed to spring.

Last of all – my favourite cobalt jeans πŸ™‚ I can’t wait to start wearing brighter colors for sure! Black has just been too long!

Also here were some shoes that were on sale in Target. Which one is your favourite?

I’m Just happy that Spring is finally here! Winter felt so long ago πŸ™‚ Β Happy weekend everyone!

Minty Lace

Hi all,

Spring is nearly here! (For those who are down south) and it’s time to break out those pastels, neons and florals πŸ™‚
I tried this mint lace top which I think is super cute!

On another note, I tried this 3 ingredient pineapple cake – for those who want a quick fix

2 cups of SR flour
1 cup of sugar
1 tin can of pineapples
Mix all together
Put in a baking tin and bake for 40 min in 180 degree oven πŸ™‚

Any good baking recipes that are quick and easy to make?

BBQ Pork buns

Hi all,

On the weekend, I made these BBQ pork buns (with the help of my ma of course πŸ™‚ ) .

I can’t say they are the easiest things to make but they are so delicious!!

What you will need:

Bun flour (from asian groceries)

1/2 cup of Milk

2 tablespoons Sugar

Onion or turnip

BBQ pork

In order to make the filling you will have to fry the bbq pork and onion/turnip together. Set aside to cool.

Follow the instructions on the back of the bun flour to make the dough. Knead it and set aside for half an hour to rise.

Divide dough into 12 balls and then roll into a small circle and add filling.

Make it into a parcel

Add grease-poof paper in the shape of a circle to the bottom and then put into a steamer.

We added small dye faces to indicate which one’s we made.

Ta-da~ they expand and go white when you add vinegar to the water in the steamer. They normally take about 5-10 minutes to cook πŸ™‚

They are sooo delicious! A bit of work but a great reward!!!

Red scarf and Dress

Hi all,

Just a quick OOTD – I’m wearing a new red infinity scarf and my flower dress with a turquoise ring and my magnetic nails πŸ™‚

Plans are to go out for brunch/lunch and just enjoy the weekend!

These BBQ pork buns were in the making last night so I will post a recipe soon πŸ™‚

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend!! It’s nearly Spring!

Snapshot week (2)

Hi all,

Another week has flown by and the weather has been erratic. Truly Melbourne had 4 seasons in one day. Β So time for another snapshot week…

Scarves I have been using this week πŸ™‚ – Polka dot, Leopard and Flowers

My friend gave me a sample to try out Dr Lewinns foundation and primer πŸ™‚ So far so good πŸ™‚ and the color suits my skintone.

Some Melbourne architecture and a tram – I know some countries don’t have these πŸ™‚

A quiche I made πŸ™‚ Very quick to make and super tasty – all you need is puff pastry, egg and vegetables of your choice πŸ™‚

A purple truck – Thought it was quite cool and this overgrown tree πŸ™‚

Still loving these Essie nail polishes! Though haven’t had much chance to use them with my magnetic nail polish obsession πŸ™‚

How has your week been? Hectic? Plans for the weekend?

Layla Magneffect

Hi all,

Another nail post because I got gifted these magnetic nail polishes! They are so pretty and I have always wanted to try these polishes out because of the magnetic component.

The colors I got were Velvet Groove, Brown Sugar and Silver Galaxy.

Today I’m wearing Velvet Groove which is a deep purple color. The trick to wearing these nail polishes is as soon as you have brushed on the color, you must magnetise the nail with the lid (which has magnets on top)

Has anyone tried other magnetic nail polishes? What brands and what did you think of them?

Lemon and heart sparkle

Hi all,

Still loving my lemon nails and I added hearts and a sparkle top coat to make them even sparklier.

My weekend was enjoyable and I got to meet these beautiful horses πŸ™‚

How was your weekend?Β

Striped blazer and flower shirt

Hi all,

I haven’t been posting many OOTD mainly because I have been wearing a lot of blacks and whites and have been quite lazy with being creative! I also haven’t had much time to take photos of outfits so I will try to do that on the weekend πŸ™‚

I did try on this striped blazer. It was a little boxy so I didn’t get it and then I spotted this floral shirt with a feature collar.

Pastels and neons are definitely coming up for Spring so I bought this pastel lemon colored nail polish to toast to Spring coming soon πŸ™‚

Are you excited about Spring? I sure am!!

Essie Tropical nails

Hi all,

So I was out shopping and found this cute themed tropical resort nail polish collection from Essie. I don’t actually own any Essie nail polish and have always wanted to try them out. (They are hard to get in Australia and usually overpriced) But I picked these up for $5 – retails at $25. It’s great that I can try all 4 colors and if I like them I can go back to buy the bigger size.
There are four colors, Fair game, Your Hut or Mine, Lion Around and Da Bush.

There are four colors, Fair game, Your Hut or Mine, Lion Around and Da Bush.

Fair game is like a gray blue, Your hut or mine is more like a coral pink, Lion around is a pastel pink and Da Bush is like a moss green. Β Overall the quality of the nail polishes are really nice and let’s see how long they last on the nails πŸ™‚

Have you tried out Essie nail polish? What is your favourite?
