Carrot fritters

Hi all,

This weekend was a lazy one and I managed to find some time to do some cooking. We had some carrots that needed to be used up so I looked up a recipe on Taste and found one for carrot fritters.

Here are the steps to make them :

Ingredients:
3 carrots
1 potato
1 cup of plain flour
1 egg
1/2 cup of milk
salt and pepper to taste

Method:
Grate the carrots and potato and squeeze as much juice as you can out of them so your fritters aren’t too soggy. Mix all the other ingredients in a bowl with the vegetables.
Fry them as patties in a frypan with shallow vegetable oil and voila πŸ™‚ Snack!!

 

Serve with sauces of your choice! In the recipe they served it with greek yoghurt but I tried bbq, relish and tomato sauce πŸ™‚
