Missha Lucid Nail Polish

Hi all,

For my birthday I got this Missha nail set – comes with nail decals and these 2 polishes – Lucid Nail polishes in SV02 and BL04. So of course I had to try them out right away πŸ™‚

With flash πŸ™‚

Without flash

Has anyone else tried these polishes? What did you think of them?

Hope you’re having an awesome weekend! I did πŸ™‚ My birthday has turned into a birthday week πŸ™‚

Petite Fashion Challenge #17: Candy Colorized

Hi all,
Today’s PFC challenge is hosted by SewPetiteGal. She has awesome DIYs and I loved her challenge!
The Challenge: Candy Colorized
Take a bowl full of colorful candies (M&Ms, Jolly Ranchers, jelly beans, etc.), close your eyes, and draw 2-3 pieces. Now use those colors (+ a neutral of your choosing) to form the basis for your ensemble.
**Extra brownie points if you post more than 1 colorful ensemble or if you add a DIY element (because I love DIYs so much!) :D**
So I didn’t have candy to pick from so I chose the closest thing (in my house) a bottle of nougat! haha
So even though there were limited colors – these are the 2 colors that I drew out! Dark green and peach!!
Boy was I in a dilemma! I hardly use these colors and I couldn’t recall having any peach items! Argh! But I did raid through my closet because I didn’t want to cheat and redraw colors! hahah All part of the challenge! So this is what I came up with πŸ™‚

Peach skirt with flowers that was actually a DIY skirt – it was a longer skirt which I shortened and took the waist in.

Green jumper from Glassons that is perfect for the winter and y0u can change the way you style the collar as it can be off the shoulder or how I have styled it.

Great challenge as it was very challenging!! Thanks SPG and check out her site to see others that participated!

Happy Bday

Hi all,

Happy Birthday lil ol me πŸ™‚ I expected this year’s birthday to be just another day but I have had so many early birthday celebrations and unexpected moments that it definitely has been a birthday to remember πŸ™‚

Thank you to all my dear friends out there πŸ™‚ and may this year be another awesome year πŸ™‚

Camberwell market

Hi all,

Ever been to a market? This is one of my favourites! Located in Camberwell, it has a range of items that differ each week πŸ™‚

Old Coca cola bottles anyone?

Lots of different clothes

Thought this was pretty cool – a shield

Lots of old signage and vintage retro things πŸ™‚

Happy Monday everyone!

Rabbit and Jeans

Hi all,

How’s your weekend going? For the weekend I like to go casual and this is what I paired to go to the shops. A rabbit printed casual hooded top and my Tommy Hilfiger bag. I love this bag – I got it while shopping in the US and it was super cheap in one of the factory outlets. It fits everything I need and is super comfortable to wear.

Do you have aΒ comfortable bag that you often use? Hope you’re having a great weekend!

Hi all,

Continuing with my jeans challenge. I chose this butterfly top to pair with my jeans. I like the unique print of it and how it has lace detailing in the collar and sleeves.

I’m glad for the weekend! The first days were filled with sick days! It’s that time of the year – when its cold and the trains are filled with sick contagious virusy people who spread their germs! So no matter how hard you try and escape them you will definitely be sick! Or I definitely was! It’s that once a year thing where I have to be stuck on the couch watching dvds like Desperate Housewives! I guess it could be worse πŸ™‚

Have a great weekend!

Red polkadots

Hi all,

Continuing with the jeans theme but changing it up – I chose a red top with a polka dot scarf. It makes the Winter less dreary with bright colors because all I see around the city is black!

We had the shortest day – Winter solstice today so the day was dark and dreary and top that off with an earthquake yesterday at 5.2 on the Rickter scale. Scary! We haven’t had one like that for the last century! Felt the whole couch shake and you could hear a rumble! I thought that a helicopter was going to land in our front yard. A lot of people on facebook thought it was their washing machine! That must be one crazy spin cycle!!

Have you ever felt an earthquake before?
