I haven’t done a NOTD for a while. Though I have been switching up my nail polish nearly every week or whenever I get bored with the color. I get a lot of hits from searches looking for polka dot and striped nails. I have done one with a mint green – see here
I decided to do something similar but with all pinks. Pastels are great for spring and even though we are in Autumn in Australia I still like to do any colored nails no matter the season 🙂 Just whatever mood I’m in!
So here they are 🙂 Super easy to do and really fun.
All you need is a pastel pink color and a dotting tool to dot the white dots and stripes 🙂
How do you like to do your nails? Any trends you see?
This month I joined in Nnenna’s correspondence club from Starcrossedsmile.com
Just as snail mail these days are really rare I thought it would be a great idea to join and make some friends 🙂 It’s always exciting to receive something in the mail 🙂 My snail mail came all the way from Norway – Dina 🙂 She sent me this cute pearl ring that I love wearing and have received compliments for as well 🙂 Thanks Dina!
If you are interested in joining April’s correspondence club – check out Nnenna’s blog for more detail 🙂

I’m back from my mini holiday and it was great fun but too fast 😦 *as it always are with holidays* Back to reality! The wedding I attended was beautiful and the bride was too~~ Here are some snippets 🙂 *warning pic heavy*
We made cookies – bride and groom for the wedding 🙂
Here it is – finished product 🙂
This is what I wore. A maxi dress with green purple and orange
This cake was made by one of the aunties there. So professional 🙂
One of the many foods after the ceremony – its a Malaysian jelly dessert.
Overall it was a beautiful day 🙂 Sun was shining and everything turned out except somehow the bride lost her wedding ring?? Slipped off? So we were looking for it after the ceremony! I’m sure it will be found soon 🙂
Happy Tuesday everyone!
I will be heading off to Perth tomorrow till Tuesday. Yay for mini holiday! 🙂 I will be visiting friends and attending a wedding 🙂 So excuse my lack of posts from tomorrow onwards!!
Off to pack 🙂
Who loves mini holidays? Even if they are domestic flights?
An OOTD – I was inspired by some blogs I have been reading with their chunky JCrew necklaces and lace. Even though we don’t have J Crew down here I do remember that I had a necklace quite similar to what other bloggers have been sporting.
So I paired my lace tunic top – tucked it in to my rust pencil skirt and wore this necklace. I actually don’t remember where I got it from though its been that long!
What do you think of the chunky necklace trend?
Do you remember the days when you had to arrange with your friend beforehand to meet and make sure you met them on that spot at that time because how else would you tell them that you couldn’t make it?
If you don’t remember those days, then you must be a Gen Y or a Gen Zer and are blessed to know and own a mobile phone. I think I had my first mobile when I started University and that is considered very late for my generation!
But ever since owning one I feel totally lost without one. So that brings me to today – my sister had to use my phone because she had forgotten hers and I feel totally lost. I can’t check messages, I can’t make phone calls.
Am I that crazy that I can’t survive a day without my mobile/cell phone?
How about you guys? Are you the same as me? Lost without one? or do you not even own one?
